First Generation

1. John1 Beaman(1) was born in Elkins, Randolph, Va about 1745. John died September 8, 1819 in Dutchmans Creek, Rowan, Nc, at 74 years of age.

He married Margaret Hunter in Rowan, Nc, May 19, 1767. Margaret was born in Philadelphia, Landcaster, Pa 1749. Margaret was the daughter of Charles Hunter and Mary Unknown. Margaret died after 1835 in Rowan, Nc. Her body was interred in Bear Creek Bapch, Davie, Pa.

John Beaman and Margaret Hunter had the following children:

child 2 i. Elizabeth2 Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1768.

child 3 ii. James Beeman was born in Rowan, Nc 1769. James died February 20, 1833 in Green, Il, at 63 years of age. He married Nancy Moore in Surry, Va, April 8, 1794.

child 4 iii. Mary Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1770. He married John Moore in Surry, Nc, March 21, 1793.

child 5 iv. Nancy Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1773.

child + 6 v. Charles Beeman was born 1775.

child 7 vi. Thomas Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1781. He married Sarah Brown in Surry, Va, June 30, 1808.

child 8 vii. Samuel Beeman was born in Rowan, Nc 1782. Samuel died January 1857 in Nc, at 74 years of age. He married Ruth E. Jones in Surry, Va, March 10, 1809.

child 9 viii. Joseph Beeman was born in Rowan, Nc 1783. He married Luch Holman in Rowan, Nc, June 4, 1815.

child 10 ix. William Beeman was born in Rowan, Nc February 22, 1787. William died August 10, 1824 in Davie, Nc, at 37 years of age. He married Nancy Coker in Rowan, Nc, January 27, 1806.

child 11 x. Thomas Beeman was born in Rowan, Nc 1791. He married Elizabeth Marean April 21, 1827.

Second Generation

6. Charles2 Beeman (John1 Beaman) was born in Rowan, Nc 1775. Charles died December 8, 1842 in Beaman, Pettis, Mo, at 67 years of age.

He married Mathey Currey in Wilkes, Nc, April 28, 1800. Mathey was born in Nc 1781. Mathey died January 3, 1860 in Pettis, Mo, at 78 years of age.

Charles Beeman and Mathey Currey had the following children:

child 12 i. John3 Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1800. John died 1875 in Pettis, Mo, at 75 years of age.

child + 13 ii. William Beaman was born August 13, 1802.

child 14 iii. Enos Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1804. Enos died November 1851 in Bates, Mo, at 47 years of age.

child 15 iv. Samuel Beaman was born in Nc 1806.

child 16 v. Thomas Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc August 6, 1806. Thomas died December 30, 1874 in Pettis, Mo, at 68 years of age.

child 17 vi. Samuel Beaman was born 1808.

child 18 vii. Elizabeth Or Betsy Beaman was born in Ky Or Nc 1811. Elizabeth died March 21, 1896 in Pettis, Mo, at 84 years of age.

child 19 viii. James Wilburn Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc May 5, 1813.

child 20 ix. Lazarus Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1815.

child 21 x. Lazarus Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc 1821.

child 22 xi. Martha Caroline Beaman was born in Rowan, Nc January 8, 1822. Martha died June 5, 1861 at 39 years of age.

Third Generation

13. William3 Beaman (Charles2 Beeman, John1 Beaman)(2) was born in Rowan, Nc August 13, 1802. William died July 8, 1874 in Butler, Mo, at 71 years of age. His body was interred in Butler, Mo, Glass Cemetery.

He married twice. He married Martha 'Patsey' Holman in Rowan, Nc, February 7, 1823. Martha was born in Rowan, Nc July 14, 1806. (Additional notes for Martha 'Patsey' Holman(3)) Martha died 1836 in Pettis, Mo, at 29 years of age. He married Jane E Stanford in Pettis, Mo, July 8, 1837. Jane was born in Unknown, Tn, Or Ky December 20, 1810. (Additional notes for Jane E Stanford(4)) Jane died March 1877 in Bates, Mo, at 66 years of age.

William Beaman and Martha 'Patsey' Holman had the following child:

child 23 i. Lucinda 'Lucy'4 Beaman(5) was born in Rowan, Nc December 14, 1823. Lucinda died March 6, 1910 in Butler, Bates, Mo, at 86 years of age.

William Beaman and Jane E Stanford had the following children:

child 24 ii. Margaret Jane Beaman was born in Sedalia, Pettis, Mo May 5, 1838. Margaret died March 15, 1908 in Blue Mound, Linn, Ks, at 69 years of age. Her body was interred in Blue Mount, Linn, Ks. She married John Harrison Beaman.

child 25 iii. Jemima Beaman was born in Pettis, Mo 1840. She married William Leonard Embree in Pettis Co, Mo, September 5, 1861.

child 26 iv. William F. Beaman was born in Pettis, Mo 1842. He married Margaret E. Standeford in Pettis, Mo, July 23, 1863.

child 27 v. Missouri Ann Beaman was born in Pettis, Mo May 14, 1843. Missouri died March 8, 1923 at 79 years of age. She married Joshua Steelman in Beaman, Pettis, Mo, August 15, 1860.

child 28 vi. Carlton J. Beaman was born in Pettis, Mo 1845. He married Mary E. Neubill in Pettis, Mo, January 18, 1866.

child + 29 vii. David Washington Beaman was born March 20, 1848.

Fourth Generation

29. David Washington4 Beaman (William3, Charles2 Beeman, John1 Beaman) was born in Unknown, Pettis Co., Mo March 20, 1848. David died October 27, 1933 in Summit, Bates, Mo, at 85 years of age.(6) His body was interred October 29, 1933 in Butler, Mo, Oak Hill Cemetery.

He married Missouri Telitha Ellit in Pettis Co, Mo, January 17, 1866. Missouri was the daughter of William Ellit and Asperna Ferrant or Ferris. Missouri died August 15, 1936 in Austin, Cass, Mo, at 87 years of age.(7) Her body was interred August 17, 1936 in Butler, Mo, Oak Hill Cemetery.

David's occupation: Farmer. He was listed as a resident in the census report in Summit Township, Bates Co., Mo, June 1, 1900.(8) He was listed as a resident in the census report in Summit Township, Bates Co., Mo, June 1, 1900.(9)

David Washington Beaman and Missouri Telitha Ellit had the following children:

child + 33 iv. Leora Viola Beaman was born March 9, 1886.

Fifth Generation

33. Leora Viola5 Beaman (David Washington4, William3, Charles2 Beeman, John1 Beaman)(10) was born in Bates County, Mo March 9, 1886. Leora died July 17, 1979 in Excellsior Sprin, Clay, Mo, at 93 years of age.(11) Her body was interred July 19, 1979 in Butler, Mo.(12)

She married Henry Clay Hyatt in Lee's Summit, Mo, October 30, 1907. Henry was born in Schell City, Mo March 11, 1889. Henry(13) was the son of Henry Clay Hyatt and Elisa Jane Lucas. Henry died December 16, 1945 in Kansas City, Jackson, Mo, at 56 years of age.(14) His body was interred in Butler, Mo, Oak Hill Cemetery.

Leora's occupation: Housewife.

Leora Viola Beaman and Henry Clay Hyatt had the following children:
