Mikes public house
Step right up and come on in. Have a seat and read some of what I have
learned about genealogy, photography, computers and other subjects. Some
of what is here is informative, some is fun and some is just plain silly.
So step right up and dive in.
Select the room you wish to visit from the list below:
- I have been researching my family tree for over twenty years and
have managed put some of my notes online. Step into
my genealogy room for some of
my genealogy resources.
- Visit my pets room if you want to see
what kind of creatures live with me. We have a pair of pacific parolettes,
a pair of cocatiels and far too many cats living here.
- Read about my experiences with Model
Railroading starting from my N guage layout as a teenager to
my current G guage garden railroad.
- Step into my laboratory to
see what experiments I have been cooking up. There is some amateur radio gear
collecting dust in the corner right next to my darkroom equipment.
Mostly you will find information on my current computer experiments.
- Explore my reading habits, both online and in other media in my
library. I even provide links to online vendors
who sell me the stuff I enjoy.
- Step outside and visit my garden to see what I have learned about
gardening or have a peek inside my
tool shed.
- You can add your own links on the walls of my
link room
compliments of Philip Greenspun's
BooHoo link management system!
No links to pornographic or warez sites please.
You may wish to visit my employer
Digital Fountain or my alma mater
Chico State. I run a small tech site
over at Fractured.org where my latest
project investigates the throughput and power efficiency of SOHO Routers. You can even find
out a little about me if you are curious who would
put up a scruffy little web page like this.
