Mike's Back Yard

Welcome to my back yard. I have always enjoyed the outdoors and my back yard shows it. Work is never done so you may find a half finished project or ten lying around.

• I decided to play with vermicomposting, also known as worm composting. I started with a can-o-worms and have been feeding the buggers for a year and a half now. They haven't run off but they sure aren't eating as much as the books say they should.

General information on the trees in my orchard can be found at the California Rare Fruit Growers site. California Tropical Fruit Tree Nursery looks to be a good source for tropical fruit trees. I will update this entry when I have checked them out.
